meeting her teacher/alaska state fair

like i said in the previous post, brynn starts preschool with a lady in our ward who literally lives down the street from us. her teacher (mrs. bridgett) had a little open house on the 29th of august and i was sooo looking forward to this as brynn was not happy with the idea of going to school and i knew that this would help. so our little family walked to her house geared with brynn's new backpack and school paraphernalia. here are some pictures of the area to give you all a look of our area.
we have this cute little house in our backyard that brynn loves to hang out in when we are outside. i so wish we had a fence though as we always have kids trampling through our yard...and not to mention that we get a lot of dog poo too. not cool.

brynn posin' with a mushroom. we have these all over our yard and she LOVES them! it was a sad day last week when steve decided to kick one across the lawn trying to be funny...brynn was NOT impressed.

this picture cracks me up! look how huge her backpack is on her?! LOL! i think she looks like a turtle in it.
and yes, she has to point out every mushroom we come across wherever we are walking.

walking to her teachers house. its so awesome as it's literally a 2 minute walk!

after we checked out her teachers house, we headed to the alaska state fair in palmer. it was pretty busy, but we didn't mind as the weather was perfect and there were a lot of things to see (i still think the BEST fair is the puyallup in washington state).
brynn loved the animals barns and had no problem touching/petting everything in sight.
they had an armed forces booth that had this sweet blow up slide. brynn and steve of corse checked it out and had a blast! i would have gone, but i'm a little slow at the moment...

touching star fish

first taste of dippin' dots. daddy stole most of them...mean daddy.

definitely grandma franks granddaughter as she LOVES horses! this horse was not too interested in eating the stale pieces of straw that brynn was collecting for it to eat...you can imagine her frustration each time the horse blew it away! it cracked me up.

welcome to alaska. crazy people doing crazy things to their vehicles.
also, i have never seen so many personalized license plates! seriously, one in 4 cars that i pass each day have one on.

You guys are so lucky. Alaska looks like so much fun.
Chels would love that little house, I can't believe it's in your backyard. Does Brynn beg to go outside all the time?!?!
Where are the pictures of you? I want to see your baby belly!
